One of the highest complaints in the electricity industry from consumers is frequent disconnects from prepaid electricity providers not offering proper notice to their customers.

There are rules in place with the Public Utility Commission for turn off notices to be given within a certain time frame.

The rules let customers know that they must pay up on their prepaid electricity to receive future electricity to be delivered or the lights will be turned off.

For most of us the expectation is to receive our PA electricity service in advance and then we get the bill, and then we pay.

We may not get a bill for 30 -45 days after we have used electricity for a month but a prepaid electricity customer must pay in advance each month for the electricity they are going to use.

For someone new to the prepaid no credit check PA electricity market you may have a hard time adjusting the first couple of months.

Lets face it, it is nice not having to pay for electricity and being billed in a traditional way for an entire month.

PA prepaid light companies offer a different advantage over traditional billing and that is simply not having to come up with a large deposit amount.
